Russian Mani FAQs
1. What is a Russian manicure?
A Russian manicure is an advanced detailing technique that focuses on enhanced cuticle care. It uses e-file tools to gently lift and exfoliate the cuticle area for a more refined pristine clean.
2. How quickly will my cuticles grow back?
Visible regrowth depends on your personal nail growth rate, skin biology, hydration, and lifestyle. Most people can enjoy 1-2 weeks of clean cuticles before any growth is visible . Using cuticle oil and drinking water will help extend your results.
3. Is mild redness or sensitivity normal?
Yes. Some clients experience mild redness, tightness, or sensitivity for 1–2 days after service. Especially if this is your first Russian mani/pedi or you have sensitive skin. This is a normal skin response to exfoliation and detailing — similar to the way facial exfoliation may cause temporary pinkness.
4. Will my nails look exactly like the pictures I see on the internet?
We always strive for consistent high quality results. However, the outcome depends on your natural cuticle thickness, how close the safe working margin is to your living skin, the shape of your nail folds (some are deeper or tighter), whether you have dry or sensitive skin .
5. What if I don’t like something about the detailing?
We aim to provide consistent, high quality results. If something needs adjusting, please let us know immediately so that it can be addressed during the time of service. However, we do offer a complimentary refinement for minor corrections or issues that can happen after the appointment -if notified within 48 hours of service completion.
6.How often should I get Russian manicures?
Most clients return every 3–4 weeks, depending on: cuticle growth, nail growth, and lifestyle maintenance routines. Consistency improves long-term appearance.
